I'm currently reading this book, "The 1st Time Manager" and came across the EQ chapter. I never knew the specific definition of EQ until I came across it in this book. Here's how it was explained:

Mom has had the seminal Emotional Intelligence book in the house shelves for ages. It's quite interesting.
