Percy, one of the engineers here at the office, has stopped eating rice for over 2 years now. He replaces the missing carbo by munching on bread, white or whole-wheat.
"Di mo ba namimiss ang kanin?"
"Hindi po," he replied.
He had lost 20-30lbs from this change of lifestyle.
Ayie, one of my staff, was a hefty 160 pounder before he started dieting via portioning his rice from his dish and refraining from softdrinks. He is now 140lbs.
No diet pills, no magic gadgets, none of that crap being sold at Home-TV-Shopping.
Just old-fashioned self-control.
So how do these stories relate to me?
Well, I hope I'll be able to give you good news after 2 months.
